Nate Duval :: Posters
Sunday, July 19th, 2009Nothing better than spending a day at the Renegade Craft Fair in SF. Chock-full of talented artists and crafters it was definitely inspiring to see everyone’s labor of love. One of my favorite discoveries was posters from Nate Duval. See more here.
Mike Davis :: Alphabet Poster
Thursday, June 25th, 2009Canada 1976 Olympic Posters
Thursday, May 7th, 2009The Olympics rule. So its only natural that their design would rule as well. Debatable in recent years, but let’s hop in a time capsule back to 1976 when they REALLY knew what’s what. The Montreal Games were designed by the Graphics and Design Directorate, and featured 2 sets. The first concentrated on the flag, mascot and stadium, and the second on the sports themselves. The best part: the designs are timeless. (sans the photography) If it didn’t say 1976, you could imagine them seeing them today. And that my friends is what good fucking design is made of.
Jeffrey Bowman :: Can’t See the Wood for the Trees
Tuesday, May 5th, 2009NGL, this poster gives me the urge to make a fort and eat s’mores. Pop Tart s’mores will suffice. But before that, check out more work from this extremely talented lad, Jeffrey Bowman.

Film the Blanks :: Posters
Friday, March 20th, 2009I am a habitual faller asleeper during movies. I know its terrible. I’ve seen a lot of movies. But far fewer movie endings. Nevertheless, Film the Blanks is an experiment in deconstructing and abstracting film posters. An amazing collection of posters and well-designed, test your film I.Q. And perhaps it would make a great drinking game. Just sayin’. Have a good weekend.
