Magdalena Tjaneski :: A Shade of Blind ::
Tuesday, December 16th, 2008Conceptual design for a exhibition that showcases 12 photographers who just happen to be blind. A common misconception that Magdalena Tjaneski wanted to correct through her designs is that the blind see constant darkness, which is untrue. They imagine color. So while their idea of leaves may be pink instead of green, they still live in a colorful world. Great work.

Artist to Watch :: Lykke Li ::
Friday, June 13th, 2008You know her even though you may think you don’t. On the catchy, Peter Bjorn & John’s tune, Young Folks, Lykke Li sang the girl vocals. Now the 21- year old Swede has her own album, Youth Novels, that just came out this month. The first time I heard her on Sirius radio station, Left of Center, I got up from my chair and went to see who the artist was playing, I instantly loved her sound. Check her out here.
