A huge fan of Jean Jullien’s work, its always exciting to visit his website and see what he’s been brewing. No Equal is a clothing company that works in collaboration with charities and organizations for social good. Jean Jullien created a limited edition series of t-shirts that can be seen here. Other artists commissioned were Thibaud Herem and Yann Le Bec. Good stuff.

Ill-Studio is a French group of collaborators devoted to fine arts. They recently curated an event with Scion in Los Angeles called “The Art of Music” that included artists Steven Harrington and Alter. Sorry folks, but the show just ended. On a brighter note, I met one of the collabrators of Ill-Studio, David Luraschi, an amazingly talented photographer residing in SF. But check out their work, it will make your Monday better. Promise. Or there is something wrong with your brain.

Even though the description is in French, its quite obvious that this Mobile/Motif project is beautifully photographed (Sebastien Bocos) and designed. Well done.

The best way to describe Atypyk’s products is smart. Virtually every item on their web site either makes you giggle or say “those clever people, why didn’t I think of that” or both. And according to their “fact sheet,” Atypyk enjoys making completely unnecessary things, kills flies (sorry) and products are not made in china. These dollar bills are not products they sell, but a random section of their web site that kept me entertained for awhile.

Happy Friday to all! And to make your Friday that much happier, I bring goodies. Jean Jullien goodies. A French designer who is currently in his third year at Central Saint Martins, Jullien is a very talented lad. Above is a poster installation at the Manystuff exhibition Reflet, held in Toulouse. It mixes various print techniques, cut paper and ink on wall and paper. Nice job!

While I sit in for miss
Lily, I would like to share a few things that I’ve come across and some new discoveries. I really love this graffiti artist from France,
Fafi. She’s known for her colorful feminine characters, also known as
Fafinettes. She explores stereotypes of femininity thru different mediums and has collaborated with
Sony,
Adidas,
LeSport Sac,
Coca-Cola, and
M.A.C. Cosmetics.
