Once in fifth grade, my entire afternoon science class dissected owl pellets. I learned three things that day:

1. Owls are a mysterious and intriguing animal that shouldn’t be overlooked.
2. Trish Stempel would eat anything if dared.
3. Within a large group of rubbish there are always some hidden gems to be found.
