Thursday, May 28th, 2009Paperfoldables :: Krang
Thursday, May 28th, 2009Just when I thought my life was complete, I discovered Paperfoldables. From the Green Grub to the Hipster Grifter, there is a paper toy template for everyone. We took a vote earlier at Apples & Owls and by unanimous decision…our favorite is Krang.
Adobe CS4 :: Shortcut to Brilliant
Wednesday, May 27th, 2009Take four minutes out of your busy life to watch this video for CS4. I wish I had the power to make keys into cakes and donuts into…socks? I take that back, I’d rather just eat the donut. Back to my point, watch it.
Nicely done by Goodby, Silverstein & Partners.

Superheadz :: Golden Half
Tuesday, May 26th, 2009The newest addition to my toy camera collection. Superheadz Golden Half. Takes 2 frames on one 4×6. Does this give anyone else an urge to watch “The Lost Boys” again?

(with the help of a kind friend, thanks Rob T.) Geoff Mcfetridge was creating this type of work since what I found, 1996, through his own studio, Champion Graphics.

Friday, May 22nd, 2009Deke’s work is delightful. And how could you not love a man that can sculpt clay trees that resemble fro-yo slash poo slash snake? Have you no heart?

Patricia Urquiola :: Tropicalia
Friday, May 22nd, 2009Hell yes to long weekends. Hell yes to lounging in a swing cocoon with a mexican-inspired print. And a mega hell yes to reinterpreting already awesome plastic fold chairs into something even more amazing. Just looking at this makes me want to put my sunnies on.
