Look, I want a wristwatch tv just as much as you do, but this 1979 magazine on predictions of the 21st century just missed the mark. On a brighter note, at least we have AMAZING sports. Isn’t science great?

We’re all disgruntled with the fact that the production of analog Instant Film stopped in June 2008, but it may not be too much longer before the re-production of instant film for vintage Polaroid cameras returns. Thanks to a dedicated team of experts who are responsible for “The Impossible Project,” we may be able to turn our frowns upside down. But until then, satisfy your Polaroid urges with PHOTOLOLZ. Thanks for the tip, LisaMakes.
While we’re on the sustainable tip, (of which all of you should be too..eeeehhhm) these are neat posters made by Clint Woodside. Hey, have a good weekend folks. And start a compost pile while you’re at it.
Most awesomest idea of the day. Upcycling nostalgic retro textiles from seat upholstery of underground tubes and buses in London to make shoes. Created by Above & Below of London. Do good. Look good. Sheeeyit.

HLZ YEAH. The work of Olly Moss.
This takes the “Liger” to a whole new level. Michael Haene created this piece where the user clicks to generate a new animal. I made the one above, what will you make?
In the spring of 2010, downtown Los Angeles will host its first signature event - an international creative festival. Super Expo initiates a program that examines the accomplishments of today’s thinkers and creators. The festival will range from installations to guerilla shops to live performances. This is going to be epic, I’ll see you next spring.
Not much info on U Mag, but I’m loving their March 2009 issue with black and white photography and nicely kerned typography.
I can’t stop making animated gifs. Of everything and anything. So I’ve turned it into an experiment. I give myself a time limit of 30 minutes a day to make one. This is numero dos. Who’s with me?….or email me the number to the animated gif helpline.
UPDATE: I’ve started a set on my Flickr so you can see my experiment in full glory. Because posting all of them on A&O would definitely make your eyes bug out. And I adore you too much for that. Enjoy.
