I stumbled upon Ryan Boyle’s exhibit on my way to see some works by Charley Harper and was pleasantly surprised. Quirky and playful, his sculptures are actually made primarily of paper. (!) Can’t wait to see more of his work.

Scavenging for moving boxes tip #3: Go to grocery stores at 11PM while they’re restocking the cereal aisle and gank all the flattened boxes. One can only hope my clothes will smell like Cinnamon Toast Crunch once I’m done moving. I’m also considering making this snifty cardboard box cloud with the leftover boxes.

Fontaine Anderson is inspired by “her dreams, Japanese textiles, Egyptian gods, 1980’s clip art, fashion and music.” As if I didn’t love her enough already.

Not only is Robert G. Bartholot a talented and interesting artist/graphic designer, but he should add mind reader to his list of talents. This image is a spot-on interpretation of how I felt this morning after a night of mojitos. I only wish my hair looked this proper in the morning.

Currently adoring the work of Robin Cameron. In particular, her playfulness in color and collages. Take a gander at her web site, rocamm (not to be mistaken for a rom com.)

These photos don’t serve Atelier OMOYA’s water logo installation justice, so click here to view the video. I’d also like to note that this logo makes me want to go visit some waterslides. Otter pop in hand. Thanks for listening.

Just a reminder that your should never forgranted the work of David Shrigley. Brilliance exhibited in sharply sarcastic illustrations. So good.

Nothing better than spending a day at the Renegade Craft Fair in SF. Chock-full of talented artists and crafters it was definitely inspiring to see everyone’s labor of love. One of my favorite discoveries was posters from Nate Duval. See more here.
